Tile Fountain Restoration at Mt. Brilliant Farm
The Chapel and Motor Court fountains at historic Mt. Brilliant Farm in Lexington, Ky. were in significant need of repair when Crosby Contracting was hired for the job. We completed a comprehensive restoration which included the meticulous removal and replacement of degraded tile and mortar, followed by the application of a Laticrete waterproof membrane substrate. We subsequently installed new tile secured with Laticrete mortar and grouted the joints. All materials employed were specifically rated for submerged applications, ensuring the fountains are not only restored to their former glory but will demonstrate longevity for generations to come.
